Efficient and accurate, Wayzim automation equipment promotes the transformation and upgrading of smart logistics
In the field of express parcel sorting, the automation equipment of Wayzim has withstood the test of the market, and its automation core technology equipment has been applied in a Total Integration Project, which has fully realized staff reduction and efficiency increase. According to the design requirements, the main line speed is 2 m/s, and the handling capacity of a single main line is ≥ 6000 pcs/h. In the project covering an area of 60,000 m2, 10 main lines of rough distribution and unloading, 2 parcel return lines, 2 irregular parcel return lines, 12 main lines of fine distribution and loading and 2 double-layer small parcel sorters are arranged. The whole site is equipped with automatic equipment such as Wayzim’s conveyor belt line, pivot wheel sorter, loading chute, etc. The total length of the conveyor belt line is about 10,000 m. In order to achieve the design goal, the core technology and equipment of Wayzim in the project, such as the cross-belt five-sided code reading system and pivot wheel sorter, have made undeniable contributions. The cross-belt five-sided code reading system uses the intelligent logistics visual product independently developed and partially produced by the Wayzim, which can achieve a code reading recognition rate ≥ 99.9%; the error rate generated during manual sorting is about 1%.
At present, A Total Integration Project has a daily average handling capacity of about 650,000 parcels, and the peak handling volume of e-commerce promotion in “Double Eleven” is about 1.3 million pcs/d. This fully automated sorting equipment of Wayzim is designed to handle at least 96,000 parcels per hour. In the past, the parcel sorting mainly relaying on manual work, averagely could handle about 500 parcels per hour, and it took about 200 people to work for one hour to sort 96,000 parcels. It can be seen that the application of automation equipment in labor-intensive industries not only greatly saves labor costs, but also helps industry customers reduce error rates and improve work efficiency.
